TechForGov Attends and Leads Workshop at NJAC’s Historic 75th Annual Celebration of County Government
Atlantic City, New Jersey; May 7th, 2026 – TechForGov attended the New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) 75th Annual Celebration of County Government, held May 6–8, 2026 at Caesars Atlantic City. Marking a historic milestone for county governance in New Jersey, the conference brought together over 700 county and business leaders from all 21 counties across the Garden State for three days of collaboration, professional development, and forward-looking dialogue on the future of local government.
Leading the Conversation on Responsible AI in County Government
Himanshu Goil, CEO, and Amanda Coe, Head of Growth & Strategy, represented TechForGov on May 6th and 7th. On the morning of May 7th, they joined Bruno Tirone, CEO of MRA International, as panelists for the workshop Deploying Responsible AI Services in County Government – a professional development session approved for continuing education credits across Information Technology designations, including CMFO/CCFO, CPWM, CTC, QPA, RMC, and RPPO/RPPS.
The workshop gave county officials a practical, non-technical overview of how AI can be responsibly deployed using secure infrastructure and existing county systems. Panelists walked attendees through real-world use cases – public-facing chat and voice assistants, internal knowledge access tools, and workflow support solutions – while keeping the conversation grounded in the governance frameworks and risk considerations every county must address before deployment.
The session carried a clear message: responsible AI adoption is not about replacing government staff. It is about equipping them to serve residents faster, more accurately, and more transparently.
A Consistent Theme Across All 21 Counties
Throughout both days, Himanshu and Amanda engaged with county commissioners, administrators, and local government professionals on the modernization priorities shaping New Jersey’s counties in 2026 – from cybersecurity readiness and legacy system upgrades to procurement efficiency and citizen-centric service delivery.
One theme emerged consistently across every conversation. County leaders are no longer exploring AI.
