How can organizations, from governments to startups, build and scale intelligent AI systems that deliver meaningful impact while ensuring trust, governance, and accountability
Himanshu joined industry leaders for a panel discussion focused on helping founders navigate the modern AI ecosystem. He emphasized responsible innovation, strategies for securing early investment, and leveraging agentic architectures to accelerate product-market fit.
In a hands-on workshop hosted at the HP Lab, Himanshu guided participants through building end-to-end intelligent agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure OpenAI. The session covered designing agent workflows, integrating AI with enterprise systems, and deploying governed, production-ready agentic solutions.
During his main-stage session, Himanshu highlighted how municipalities are adopting AI-powered Civic Agents to enhance public service delivery. Use cases included automated permit review, multilingual resident assistance, public works coordination, and financial anomaly detection. He also shared practical governance frameworks to support safe, transparent, and citizen-centric AI deployment.
“AI innovation creates the most value when it strengthens human capability. The future belongs to trusted, collaborative AI systems that are built transparently, deployed responsibly, and designed to empower teams and communities alike.”
His sessions reinforced the broader mission of Microsoft Community Days, which is building foundational AI skills, democratizing access to modern tools, and bringing technologists together to learn, collaborate, and help shape the next era of intelligent systems.
